Hi all! How is everyone? Seems to be quiet around here again. I miss everyone chatting on about Jen and Dawn. So, what's everyone up to other than looking at policemen's balls? I wish I was there. I love balls and especially if Jennifer is anywhere around the balls. Ok, I better stop. I think I've gone too far. Hee hee (blush). I'm off...

Well, Jennifer is up to lots of stuff and I think Dawn is too. So I guess when it airs we will all have alot to talk about. I just won a new pc system on Ebay. My computer messed up again and I had to use the system recovery cd. Now everything is screwed up because it's such an old OS. Anyway..more RAM, better system and I'm happy. Should be here soon. Until then I can't get into some sites. I am glad to be able to get into this one and Ebay (to buy a new pc). When I get the new pc I am taking a hammer to this one. It's caused me nothing but trouble for far too long. Argghghghhgh!! Hey..now maybe I can download alot more FnS to watch..YAY!

I've had a computer meltdown too. Lost EVERYTHING. I hate comeputers. I used to like my F&S files. Alas they are no more.

I'm n the process of looking into external hard-drives, as my computer has been playing up (due to all my new boosh... both series downloaded and watched in the space of 24 hours... rock on!... and pirate people - I WILL buy the dvds... i just wanted to watch them NOW). No way I want to risk losing all my photos and music!

(I don't have access to my French & Saunders series, though - they are on the computer, I just can't get the file to open, for some weird reason - I am glad I put it all the episodes on dvds not too long ago!) But I have interviews, Sapsorrow, AbFab specials, Comic relief stuff, Fame academy stuff, French & Saunders specials and so on, so let me know!

One thing I am having trouble with is saving some of my files to floppy disk. I bought a pack of floppies already pc formatted. Every time I put the disk in and click the document I want to save it says that my floppy disk isn't formatted. It asks me if I want to format it now, so I just clicked yes, even though I knew the disk was formatted. And after a few minutes it pops up a new window that says I cannot format the disk. So, when I get my new computer I have no way of saving and transferring my files. And that makes me upset because I don't want to have to look up everything and download it all again. And I sure don't want to have to hand write all my documents out and retype them on the new computer. I can't figure out why this pc gives me so much trouble.

Also..is there anyone here who knows about computers? I wanted to see if my new computer is pretty good for a basic one. So here is what the system has as far as memory and stuff like that. You tell me if it's pretty good or am I just stuck with a sucky computer again? Hard Drive: 80GB RAM: 1 GB CPU: 2.66 GHz OS: Windows XP Home Edition CD/DVD 48x (i think this is what he said) Intel Extreme 3D Graphics with 64MB Shared Memory v.92 56 Kbps PCI Modem and 10/100 Ethernet
So, what do you think?

So my computer is basically sucky. I wonder how to add stuff? I can always look on Ebay for things, but the problem is that I don't know what to look for! I want a faster computer that can download things quicker, view videos quicker, etc. Plus I want to play some of the newer PC games. Valerie, do you happen to know what I need to look for to upgrade the system?

Hmm let me think you need a quicker processor at least a 3. something. For downloading it depends on your connection ADSL works for me and it's not even the fastest. But can download about 200-300kb/s which is pretty good right? What sort of video card do you have?
