Just wondering how many, if any, on this board are Christians? No, I'm not going to preach. No, please don't send a bomb to my home. I simply thought I'd ask. I asked this once elsewhere and they attacked me up and down and every which way. I guess it's ok to talk about sex, drugs, satan, war and all that...but don't say the word Christian. Well... Christian, Christian, Christian, Christian..(in the spirit of Jennifer saying your family, your family, your family, your family on series 6). ;D ;D ;D

Nice of people to attack you last time you asked this question. Must have been a very friendly place! I went to a CoV primary school way back when, however I'm not religious. Don't know about others on here though, mainly just crazies me thinks

Well, my parents were married in the Catholic Church. Me and my sister were both baptized. But since then, my experience with religion is none. I could call myself an agnostic.

Well, technically I am Christian as I was baptized and therefore still am a member of the Finnish Lutheran Chruch, like vast majority of the population, but I'm not at all religious. I don't really believe in God.

I'm a Christian as well, was baptized but it seems that religion isn't a thing anymore the only ones who still believe are moeslims(I could get shot for this).Nothing against them of course.Nobody I know cares that their Christians neither do I.It's really a shame but I don't really care...does this make any sense?

I was baptized and also did the saying yes to believing in God at 14, a ceremony thing in church where all the girls wear white dresses - I won't say what it's called, because it means something completely different (and sexual lol) in English. But I can't say that I'm a big believer, really. I used to when I was younger, but then all sorts of bad stuff happened and I got angry and stopped believing and praying. After I started singing in a church choir a few years back, my faith came back, somewhat, but still, I guess you can't really say that I believe in God fully. I have some doubts and my faith isn't strong..

It's called confirmation here...
I was baptised, but haven't quite got round to confirming. May do this year though - shall have to see (that makes me an Anglican, by the way).

It's called confirmation here... Yeah, here too, but when I wrote that on another chat site some years back, everyone got VERY quiet and thought I meant something else

It doesn't have another meaning or does it?

Well, I was told that it's the word you use when you 'confirm' a marriage, you know, on the wedding night. I've been very careful with using that word since, because of the way people reacted. All I said was that I was 14 when I had/did my confirmation. I got that reaction on two different occassions, but that was talking to Canadians and Americans - maybe it's different over there lol.

That's consumate - lmfao! In prim and proper England, one consumates a marriage.

lol! I promise you, I did say confirmation - not consumate. My mind was on the lovely and innocent ceremony - and don't know what THEY were thinking?!

I have consumated myself with Jesus... are you sure? *recites 5 hail-Marys*
I must say, i was sitting in the common room with a friend of mine in 12th grade as she phoned her driving school. About 6 times she asked whether her fee inculded a go on the 'stimulator'. I was having hysterics - she thought i had just forgotten to take my medication. When she finally got off the phone, i pointed out that it was what is known as a 'simulator', silly fool. I have often wondered what the person at the other end was thinking...
