To get a bit of banter going ladies and gents (however we have no gents) I thought I'd start us a little music thread to hear what kind of music you all listen to...come on, don't be shy!
I thought about stealing the 'now listening' thread Idea but I dont know if I should...lol...
Annnnyway, Favourite bands of mine, MArilyn Manson is number 1 of course, a legend in his own lunchtime. At the moment though I heart Martha and Rufus Wainwright, and Stone Fox are bestever.
I'll stop now, and maybe I will start that now listening thread... ;D

Ahhhh, I rather like the old stuff too, my grandad even stitched up Marc Bolans hand at a T Rex gig once, many many many moons ago of course, as my grandad is very much retired, and Marc is no longer with us...
That was quite random, back on topic, The Distillers, I forgot to mention them, and they are damn good! I like Goldfrapp too I have to say, my mum bought the album and i stole it, best way!

Bowie is a legend, as is Iggy, seen both live and Iggy really kicks ass on stage, he's such a mental! Also like your choice of Velvet Underground, I really like their stuff. Have to say about SOAD, their old stuff is better, new albums have been a bit annoying with their Hollywood related songs, and it annoys me! *goes off to listen to system* Look what you did!

Velvet forbidden songs? That sounds special, I'll have to go in search...and Pizza Pie song? also not one I know, if it's off the newest album I haven't got it as I listened to a friends CD and decided not to get it for myself...lol Iggy was at Reading Festival last year, Iggy and the Stooges, he was hilarious, came right into the crowd at one point which was amusing! He also managed to cut his chest open on an amp while he was climbing up it. Maybe that'll teach him to wear more items of clothing on stage!
