Absolutely Fabulous
The outrageous Edina and Patsy return to BBC One for a one-off Christmas special. Joining the Champagne-drinking duo are the long-suffering Saffy, Mother and Bubble plus special guests, including Miranda Richardson and Laurie Metcalf.
Eddy’s latest passion is interior design and she turns her attention to redecorating the kitchen with the help of Bettina and Max, her interior design friends. However, Eddy is having trouble choosing the perfect design. She decides that regression therapy is the obvious answer and calls in a therapist to help her pick the ideal design.
Meanwhile, Mother and Saffy try to cope with bringing up the baby amid all the chaos, and Bubble continues to sneer at those less posh than her.
Eddy is played by Jennifer Saunders, Patsy by Joanna Lumley, Saffy by Julia Sawalha, Mother by June Whitfield, Bettina by Miranda Richardson, Max by Patrick Barber and the regression therapist by Laurie Metcalf. Further guests are to be confirmed.
