I was wondering…
Does Jennifer play the guitar for real, in the bits where she's holding one, like in the Poo Stripes spoof, and many others?
Does she really play the piano, as in the Guns 'n Roses spoof?
and if we're on the subject - what is that thing she said about her upper lip and playing the flute (apparently, its not inbreeding ;D )?

Yup, I think the only thing we know for sure is that she's played the flute in the past. Because she has no inbreedings.  I guess she might have played some other instrument as well, but most of the times I've seen her playing the guitar in sketches, it hasn't looked quite real...not that I'm a professional myself or anything.  |

I imagine she'd have a bit of idea on the guitar seeing as how Ade apparently plays so much.
I've noticed in some sketches that she sometimes has her fingers in real chord formations, so she probably has some knowledge, but no I don't think she's actually playing.
The only time I've been almost certain that she IS playing is in AbFab when her and Patsy do their little 'performance' in 'Fear'. I think that's all Jennifer.

yeah apparently freya (jens youngest) is a really good guitar player and taught jen how to play aswell as ade.
she said in interview she has siff upper lip because of the way your mouth is shaped when you blow down flute, which is why i dont know if anyone has noticed but when jen talks she dosnt move upper lip propely cos its too stiff for her.
all jens kids are musical though. It said somewhere that Ella got A* drama, music and english litriture in a levels or gcse's, so all clever kids!

So - which is it? Is this information for real?  I know the kids are very musical, and they formed some sort of a band with Adrian (read in an interview with him), but I wasn’t sure about Jennifer's part. I did notice that she places the right chords more often than not, so I was wondering if someone knew for sure what instruments she plays. Cus if Freya taught her, that could have been only recently, right? So which is it? About the flute – I still dont understand how playing the flute, for what must be a limited period of time, and not a career choice, can affect your physiology… I think its all a cover-up, and she is the product of inbreeding. ;D |
