I looked up the meaning of the names Dawn and Jennifer.
Jennifer is supposed to mean 'white' or 'white spirit' and surprise, surprise, Dawn means, well, 'dawn'.
My name is supposed to be from the flower Hyacinth. But this website said it meant 'purple'.
What does your name mean?

I was always lead to believe that Sarah meant Princess, and upon a little research I have discovered it's true! Sarah: Means "lady" or "princess" in Hebrew. Couldn't be more wrong!

This may be what yours means Val...if I have the right spelling!
VALERIE: Feminine form of VALERIUS
VALERIUS - Ancient Roman - Roman family name which was derived from Latin valere "to be strong". This was the name of several early saints.

Siobhan "shiv + awn" Shevaun, Shavon, Chevonne
Siobhan is another Irish form of Joan meaning "God is gracious." A popular name in Ireland where the anglicised versions are often used. Siobhan McKenna, an Irish actress who died in 1986, was considered by many as a woman who personified all that was good about being Irish.

Apparently my name's origin is greek and means 'reaper' lmao. Just call me the Grim Reaper Just looked another place and there it says: From the Spanish and Portuguese name Teresa. The meaning is uncertain, but it could be derived from Greek èåñïò (theros) "summer", from Greek èåñéæù (therizo) "to harvest", or from the name of the Greek island of Thera (the main island of Santorini). A famous bearer was Maria Theresa, an Austrian Habsburg queen of the 18th century. She inherited the domains of her father, Charles VI, the Holy Roman Emperor, which began the War of the Austrian Succession.

Well - my parents named me after two nuns... sister helen louise and sister anne marie.
I dread to think what it actually means. Something poncy and biblical, no doubt.
