Well - i skipped my one and only lecture yesterday to run down to the river to have a wee look - but by the time a reached the houses of parliment, it had already reached Battersea...
Weighing out the pros and cons of going to see it now, as i have no idea whereabouts on the river it is. The BBC has live coverage on their website, but because my internet is playing up, i can't check. Don't know whether i can be bothered anyway.
Mind you, i've never seen a whale...

I wanted to go from Oxford to see that stunner, quite novel!
Still, by the time I got there it would be sure to have buggered off anyway...

It died last night! Did no one else see the news?...they had it on the boat and everything taking it out to sea, but it was in so much shock and stuff, and they were still 2 hours away from the place they planned to let it go, that it ended up having a few convulsions and died just before 7pm. have no idea what happens with it now......sushi?

What happens now is an autopsy. After that, i suppose they'll burn it or something.

I really love whales! And am so sad {yes i cried a few tears} that this whale has died! They are such social animals! Do you know when one dies, its family, carry it on thier backs taking turns for hundred, thousands of miles, to its burial place! *sob* I just think they are so magical, and beautiful! Has anyone ever seen the whale rider? ??
